Look at my new header – under fSpring-my default theme, I like it! I love it! Big Thanks to Dakota, who self volunteered to do the header for me and for that he forgo his sleep. Obviously, I can’t outdo his photoshop skills. Yes, it really enhanced this website of mine. Thank you once again. (Don’t forget to add my link back! If not, I won’t friend you. *winks*)
I have been craving for Nasi Ayam Penyet for like a month. Eating Nasi Ayam Penyet at Lucky Plaza with the girls doesn’t satisfy me at all cos I am craving for one and only Nasi Ayam Penyet from Sri Bistari. So, dear Teni brought me to Changi Village to kill that cravings and I am loving it more and more. I went online and do a search on Sri Bistari and found out that yishun has one outlet. We travelled all the way to Changi Village, when he needs to work at six in the morning. I felt so bad about it. Now that I know yishun has one outlet, that’s it, I am going to attack you like how I attacked Fried Fish Bee Hoon at Lucky Plaza – Level 6, which is no longer there. I miss that Fried Fish Bee Hoon, with the amount of pepper I added in! No other place can do a good and tasty one. Not even Banquet, Not even Lau Pa Sat. *So Sad*

Hi..was browsing the internet and did a search in nasi ayam penyet…saw what you wrote abt sri bistari’s nasi ayam penyet…..u should try the other Nasi Ayam Penyet near Bistari at Changi Vilage…..i blv the stall’s name is Nur Asiah Nasi Ayam Special….I tried Bistari b4 and after I’ve tried this other…I dun think there’s any other place that can match theirs….POWER sambal, fish and the chicken they use are FRESH ONES….not the frozen type….its more tender.

ickens and not the frozen one.. y not u try coming down at geylang malay village and try our nasi ayam penyet and u decide which one is much more tasty?? btw yanni i heard u r sick on mondae rite?? nvm its okay if u feel u need to try the best nasi ayam penyet in singapore just drop by at geylang malay village… we’ll welcome u with our open hands…

Last time i patronise Sri Bistari is March this year. But I stopped going there after few customers, who are my colleagues’ friends, complained abt maggots found in the fish (Pecel Ikan). Hopefully, they’d clean up the act as some of my colleagues did saw NEA officers doing the checks at the shope….
sharizana - i will get the owner of sri bistari to clarify things with you… cos it might jeopardize his business and we all dont want that to happen. thanks for highlighting anyway else the owner wouldn’t be aware.

I’m the owner of Sri Bistari Nasi Ayam Penyet. I understand that your colleagues encounter some problems with our foods.However, finding maggots in my foood and telling the whole world is whats i believe a typical singaporean would do.I’m sorry to say that but i believe giving feedbacks is better. We do encounter that and because of our carelees staff, we terminated her the next day. She did not checked the food before serving our customers. and that set of fish and chicken are supposed to be thrown away the day before. Now, we get regular checks from n.e.a and thats better. So they now know that we always keep our foods clean and fresh. We would have told to closed if all our shops are dirty and the foods unsafe to eat by the n.e.a officers. There are many other competitors that hate us and also make wonderful complains… as u know, no other ayam penyet stall in The World that sells 500 birds in one day. So in order to maintain that, we do take care of our food quality. i really want to say sorry to yr colleagues the other day… It was our mistake and i ‘ve no words to say to customers. If i’m the customer, i would have thrown that pieces of wood at the stall. So i sincerely apologised for that and i’ve terminated the staff and i hope u would come back and had a nice meal again. The best that u can get in singapore. I guaranteed that.
If the NEA is aware, I believe the owner is aware. Anyway, yesterday my friend who works at the Cargo Complex ordered 2 packets of chicken takeaway. One of them, have white maggots at the bone part of the chicken. The maggots are creamy white. He forgot to take picture. But I told him not to complain or make a big fuss abt it
sharizana – hi there, i appreciate your comments but in my personal opinion, i would strongly suggest if you would have send your feedback to Sri Bistari personally in any nice method. I do understand the paranoia you or your friends are having of eating certain foods now however, its not nice to jeopardize someone’s business (rice bowl) unless there’s cruelty and abuses or cheating is involved. for all you know the person who serve you was the main culprit and just a spy to spoil sri bistari’s business… so far, my family have been eating sri bistari’s food from most of their outlets for very long time and we have not experienced such before. maybe its just the bad luck your friend is having.
you said your friend experienced this right? but you are not the one who experience it yourself right? i think it would be good not to spread around.
now the owner have already replied to your comment. i really hope the explanation is sufficient to clear your friends and your doubts. everyone makes mistakes and if sri bistari staffs knows that there is maggots inside the fish, i dont think they would want to upset you girls intentionally.
no offence.. but this is my fair opinion cos a whole lot of us havent experienced such thing before and we hope we dont have to experience it either.

Ok Noted. Is that your pic?? I believe you’re a guy. I saw few of your workers in Changi and Geylang. Sometimes we went to Geylang as the queue there is not long as Changi.
