I have been wanting to order some home made spring rolls (Malay call it popiah - sound like popeye… hahah) from Ain since day 1 when I got to know her through her friendly twitter messages, comments and emails. A cancerian young lady who is less fortunate than all of us. Her health doesn’t allow her to continue schooling like those normal kids who are very lucky yet wasting their time and also their parent’s efforts and money. She was left with no choice but to quit when she was 15 years old. She is a strong girl who refuses to burden neither her parents nor her husband as her medical fees are too expensive. Therefore she make full use of her time by making popiahs and sell it to those who’s willing and sincerely in helping her.

I have yet to place an order with Ain. However, I do have some plans to help her. Insyaallah… And yes, the first thing I could afford to do now is to promote her small business.

Suggestions for some of my readers:

- For those of you whose parents have a food stall in any hawker centres/ food court/ canteen, please approach your parents and ask them to consider by helping Ain to sell her popiahs. I am aware that every stall owners wants to earn a living too. But I hope some of them are able to help Ain by not charging or expecting anything in return.

- For those of you who intend to hold a small party, like birthday parties, small gathering at chalets or any small gathering party at your workplace, you may also want to consider getting orders from Ain. (Don’t be afraid to approach your management about this, I am sure they won’t feel obligated to order some popiahs from Ain after they know her condition)

- For those Muslims whose getting engage, you can order some popiahs from Ain too for your invited guests to eat.

- For any small career talk or private functions, you can order some popiahs from Ain too for tea breaks.

- For those high traffic blogs or those blogs which have an advertisement space; come on, do this for Ain for free! Maybe 3 months free exposure or place it at your sidebar; link her up and promote her. Rest assure, more business comes in your way.

In the same time, you can help to spread the word. Explain to them about Ain’s condition. Get them to help and make an order from Ain. Tell your friends whose not IT savvy, tell your relatives whose unaware, tell your colleagues who don’t blog or read blogs. Tell everyone about Ain. Share it with everyone. Of course don’t make an order of 1000 popiahs at one go, she will go crazy making them. She will end up sleeping instead of making the popiah. Hahah!

Ain will appreciate it. Really.

P.S: Ain, sorry for the delay. I have been busy lately. Don’t worry. I will make an order from you soon.
