After 4 years of working for Jobs DB, it is the time and the best way for me to advance in my career. My last day with them was on the 29th Feb 08. Quite heartbreaking to leave my colleagues cum lunch buddies cum smoking partner… I must admit that it is a very difficult choice, and I cannot deny that I enjoy working there not because of anything but it is the money especially. The money is GOOD. My income has been really stable. I have loyal and good clients who constantly giving me their support. Also because of my strong character and support from Shida were the reasons why I managed to stay for 4 years…
I have accepted an offer from a company after 3 rounds of interview. It is going to be a new, exciting and challenging role with good pay and career path and rewards in return. I won’t disclose any further. It is a huge change for me as in industry and new role. But I know it’s going to be worth it. For that, my plan for holiday at Bangkok with dearest Teni in April will be cancel. I am going to sacrifice that for this change. But! I have planned something else instead which I have already did it. Yeah, that short getaway to Langkawi.
It is my 3rd day at work today. I love the company culture. The friendliness and the spirit they have. And one thing I love about them, they are not fake. I hope I am not wrong. Right Lin? Hehe!
Oh allah, give me the strength… So people, I am not getting married lah. I am still young and marriage is not in my top priority list. Modern sia yanni. Like real…

haha yah correct. they are not fake. to be honest, they are very honest ppl and sometimes honesty is harsh but well its better than lying to us in our face. and iryani is fantastic lah. when i first joined Lighthouse she became my friend and so did the rest. So lighthouse to me wasn’t a working environment, it felt like second home because I love the ppl there. its a diff environment and i wish u all the best. any problems, let me know ok.
i love honest straightforward ppl. i hate ppl who beat around the bush and love to pretend.. alah you know me better lah. alamak lighthouse terkeluar, terpaksa quote ivy lighthouse balik. tot want to keep it a secret. cos this topic is still fresh and hot and crispy at jobsdb.. haha! but who cares. sooner or later they will know. well, you can always come back again to lighthouse after you finish your school right. im sure they will welcome you with open arms especially iryani. btw, i didnt know that all of them love to snack! super snacking 24 hours. beside my desk, they made a mini pantry lah! thats it fasting month, that mini pantry should get lost from my sight.. iryani and i will keep on chanting COBAAN!!! hahah!
i love the passion attitude they have towards the company and mags! eat lunch with me soon ok. so near should meet up!
haha yes. iryani says we should meet up for lunch soon. maybe not this week. my throat still sore and not feeling well. i am so glad ur having fun there. ok all the best ok
oh yah and they all LOVE snacks lar. haha my old drawer had my own stash.
